Spice up your burgers and transform them from ordinary patties to juicy, beefy patties with the following recipes.
Mix ½ tsp. garlic, 1 tsp. chilli powder and 3 chopped jalapeños and 1 egg to 1 lb. ground beef and add a touch of salt and pepper. Shape the mixture into thin patties, and cook them in a pan with one tablespoonful of oil. Let it cook over medium heat for about four minutes. Place the patties on a plate. In the same frying pan, add one flour tortilla topped up with lettuce, Monterey Jack cheese and cheddar. Place the cooked burgers on the tortilla and sprinkle with some cheese. Add Pico de Gallo, spread a layer of sour cream, and then top with another tortilla. Cook for two minutes. The bottom tortilla should be golden. Carefully flip the quesadilla and cook the other side for about two minutes.
Grilled Cheese Burger
This is a simple burger but a real favourite. Spread butter and add a slice of cheddar on each side of the buns. Heat the buns in a non-stick skillet until they have a slight golden look. Season your burgers with pepper and salt. Place them on your non-stick skillet, and cook the burgers over medium-high heat. Ensure you cook on both sides to your liking. Place the cooked burgers on your grilled cheese buns and enjoy.
BLT Burger coupled with Fried Avocado (BBLTA)
Have three bowls ready. Add flour to one, an egg in the second, and panko in the third. Season the flour with panko, salt, and pepper. Dredge avocado pieces in the seasoned flour and the egg mixture. Ensure the avocado is coated well. Fry the avocado over medium heat until golden brown - this takes no more than one minute a side. Fry the bacon until crisp. Season ground beef with salt and pepper and form patties. Medium-heat the skillet and melt butter on it. Add the burgers, let them cook for three minutes before flipping. Add cheese and let them cook for another three minutes. Spread mayo on the bottom bun, top it up with bacon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and the fried avocado.
